I’ve spent two+ decades working at the intersection of storytelling, editorial craft, creative direction, and brand development. My background spans journalism, film, magazine editing, agency strategy, and my own writing and textile art practice — which means I understand both the business side of creative work as well as the deeper process behind it.
I’ve partnered with startups, nonprofits, and global brands, but my approach has shifted over the years. What matters most to me now is helping people express the heart of their work with clarity and intention.

When I’m not writing for magazines, working on my own artistic projects, or collaborating with clients, I can be found corralling my two kids, stitching quilts, or cold dipping in the Salish Sea that surrounds Salt Spring Island.
